About us
We are i Licaoni Digital Studio, an Italian independent company specialized in cinematic storytelling.
We handle the entire process, from the concept to the distribution, combining technical skills and creativity with a constant study of the potential of the newest media and newest technologies.
We made feature films and short films, web series and tv formats, including Sgt. Palomo and La Posta di Lopo for MTV Italia.
In 2005 we produced Kiss Me Lorena, the first Italian feature-length film ever to be distributed on line.
In 2006 we launched our YouTube channel.
Dr. Johnson’s Course of Punches was one of the first Italian web series ever made, winner of two awards at the Los Angeles Web Fest.
In 2012 our channel won the YouTube NextUp award and in 2014 we were selected to shoot a short film – The Touch – at the London YouTube Space for Legendary Pictures, a contest whose purpose was to promote Guillermo Del Toro‘s “Crimson Peak”.
We co-produced and distributed I Rec U, a feature film directed by Federico Sfascia. The movie starred the American director Terry Gilliam as special guest.
Our most internationally acclaimed productions are the horror short film Last Blood and the web series Elba – Napoleon’s Legacy, both award-winners worldwide.
Twinky Doo’s Magic World, a crime-horror story, is our most recent project, currently selected in several international festivals.
